The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is appealing to the public for assistance in locating two children and two adults wanted in connection with alleged abduction offences.
Who is being sought
Police say the missing children are six-year-old Lanakai Morrison and four-year-old Karl Morrison. The two adults sought by investigators are Lanakai’s mother, Krista Morrison, and her partner, Daniel Ludwig. Both adults face charges described by RCMP as abduction in contravention of a custody or parenting order.

Possible locations and vehicles
RCMP investigators say the group may have been in the Okanagan Valley near Vernon and could be travelling east toward the Kootenays. However, police emphasise they are mobile and could be elsewhere, including Northern B.C., the Yukon or Alberta. The pair were last believed to be travelling in a 2006 red Ford F-350 with a lift and large tires. Police also say they may be using a motorhome.
