Short-track action returns to Peterborough this weekend
The Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series makes a scheduled stop at Peterborough Speedway on Saturday, July 18, bringing a pair of feature races and several support divisions to the Central Ontario short track.
Spectator gates open at 5:00 p.m. with on-track racing slated to begin at 6:00 p.m. The program includes Legend Car features presented by Kevin Ryan Automotive and Andy the Mechanic, alongside racing for Mini Stock, Super Stock, the GEN-3 Electrical SportsMods’ Bill Pickford Memorial and the KOD Disposal Ontario Bandolero Series.
Family activities and event format
Event organisers have scheduled Kid’s Bike Races as the intermission feature, reinforcing the family-oriented nature of the Saturday-night card at the speedway. The evening will also offer nearly full access to several classes that have already competed at Peterborough earlier in the season.

With about a quarter of the schedule completed, almost 30 different teams have scored points in at least one series event this season. The reigning series champion, Dawson Drimmie, won the season opener at Peterborough on May 16. Since late May, Parker Traves has posted a string of victories, including wins at Sauble and at Peterborough on June dates.
The current top standings in the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series are competitive, reflecting close points separations among front-runners.

Rookies and remaining schedule
The Rookie of the Year race also shows a clear leader, with Chris Milwain on top of that list. Remaining events on the season calendar include additional stops at Peterborough and Sauble, plus dates at Full Throttle Motor Speedway and Flamboro Speedway, culminating with the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough in October.
