Peel Regional Police have identified two 17-year-old boys from Brampton as suspects in a fatal shooting that occurred on July 5, according to a police news release.

Officers responded about 3:40 p.m. on July 5 to reports of gunfire near Edenbrook Hill Drive and Earlsbridge Boulevard in Brampton. They located a man in his 20s who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a trauma centre and later died of his injuries.
Suspects and charges
Investigators have now named two local 17-year-olds as suspects. Both are wanted on charges of first-degree murder. Police say they should be considered armed and dangerous and advise the public not to approach them.
