The Saskatchewan RCMP are seeking public assistance to locate a 23-year-old woman wanted in connection with a fatality in the northern village of Sandy Bay.
Warrant issued after Aug. 16 incident
Police laid a charge of one count of manslaughter on Aug. 19 in relation to the death of 19-year-old Silvino Grenier. The named suspect is Chasity Charolette Rose Clarke, age 23, and an active warrant has been issued for her arrest.
RCMP investigators have provided a physical description of Clarke to aid in locating her: she is approximately 5 ft. 5 in. tall, weighs about 154 lb., has brown eyes and black hair, and wears prescription glasses.
Areas she is known to frequent
Investigators say Clarke is known to travel to several northern Saskatchewan communities. The RCMP specifically listed:
- Southend
- Pelican Narrows
- Sandy Bay
- Prince Albert
Authorities are cautioning the public not to approach Clarke if she is sighted. Anyone who spots her or has information on her whereabouts should contact local police immediately.

As part of the ongoing probe, the RCMP Homicide Investigation Unit — with support from the Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team — is asking Sandy Bay residents to review any home security or doorbell camera footage recorded between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Aug. 16 and to report any suspicious activity.
This remains an active investigation. Police have not provided further details about the circumstances surrounding the death.
