Morguard Corporation has reached a construction milestone on a large rental project in Mississauga, marking the topping off of a 431-suite purpose-built rental at 725 Village Green Boulevard. The developer also introduced the project name, Boulevard on the Green, and launched a website where prospective residents can register for updates.

The topping-off event brought together municipal representatives and industry partners, including Mississauga Mayor Carolyn Parrish, Ward 1 Councillor Stephen Dasko, and representatives from Bird Construction, BDP Quadrangle and Cecconi Simone, alongside Morguard leadership.

Project description and location

Boulevard on the Green is being built in the East Mineola area. The development comprises three mid-rise residential buildings — one nine-storey and two eight-storey — offering a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, as well as townhomes and penthouses. Morguard said the site has convenient access to the QEW, the waterfront and Port Credit GO Station.

"From the outset, our vision has been to create a residential community that reflects Morguard's long-term commitment to delivering an exceptional resident experience," said Angela Sahi, President and CEO, Morguard.

Amenities and design

According to Morguard, the community will combine contemporary architecture with nature-inspired interiors and landscaped outdoor spaces. Listed amenities include indoor and outdoor features such as landscaped rooftop terraces and a greenhouse for residents. The developer said the design aims to support resident well-being and everyday living.

  • Suites: 431 total across studios to three-bedroom units, townhomes and penthouses
  • Buildings: three mid-rise structures (one nine-storey, two eight-storey)
  • Access: QEW, waterfront, Port Credit GO Station
  • Available now: project website and resident registration

Timeline and partners

Construction on the project began about two years ago, Morguard said at the event where the topping off was celebrated. The company cited its partners in design and construction as part of the ceremony, naming Bird Construction as builder and BDP Quadrangle and Cecconi Simone among the design teams involved.

Item Detail
Total suites 431
Buildings One nine-storey; two eight-storey
Address 725 Village Green Boulevard

The topping-off signals a significant stage in construction, generally meaning the primary structure has reached its maximum height. Morguard presented the milestone as progress toward completion and opened the project's online presence to attract prospective tenants and inform neighbours.

Local residents and stakeholders will likely watch subsequent permitting, occupancy and landscaping phases as the developer moves from structural completion to interior fit-outs, amenity rollouts and community integration. Morguard framed the project as a long-term rental offering intended to deliver a distinctive living experience in the Port Credit–adjacent neighbourhood.
